Numerous incidents related to human trafficking and prostitution have been reported in Murrysville. On March 22, 2019, four individuals were arrested in connection with a human trafficking and prostitution ring. A few days later, on April 5, 2019, the operator of a massage parlor in Murrysville was charged and scheduled to stand trial.
Massage Parlor Case
A Flushing, N.Y., woman accused of owning and operating a massage parlor in Murrysville waived her right to a preliminary hearing. The parlor, *Judy’s Oriental Massage*, is now closed.
Additional Incidents
In a separate incident, a female jogger reported being solicited twice on March 18, 2021. Murrysville Police later charged a man and a woman in connection with attempted offenses. Reports of escorted services in Murrysville have increased over time, with additional arrests and charges related to human trafficking and prostitution documented as recently as June 5, 2024.
